Living with your past - The true story behind 'Bliss pt. 1'

“Don't escape your past. If you'd do it'll catch you by a hook for the rest of your life.
Find your peace with your actions and past-choices.”

—  Mike Robert, out of the 'Bliss pt. 1 (Explained)' Article

ALL THE CARDS ON THE TABLE

This page is dedicated to you - out there in the world feeling my music with your heart and ears. The idea is to tell the story behind the music and give you an exclusive look of the songs behind the curtains.

Feel at home - Myro

Bliss pt. 1 (Eplained)

The first part of a two-faced track - representing the two stages I've found myself in as a way to reconcile with the past.

This song is a part of the album's concept - using a metaphore of mental illness issues staged as love.

BUT - This song is one of a few really written as a love balled of an old memory.

It talks about a first love, innocent and joyful who was never ment to last more than it did probably.
We were both, me in perticular, young and not in a state to keep this love stable.

I still owe this love a lot and a big amount of what I am is because of this stepping stone I had.

This song idea is to present the ending of something you can not leave behind and forget - you can only make peace with history and know this is the way things are.

The pain and heartbreak exists, and still gives a fair fight to hopefull thoughts but in the end - what's suppoused to happen, will happen.

Don't escape your past. If you'd do it'll catch you by a hook for the rest of your life.
Find your peace with your actions and past-choices.

May only memories of bliss hunt you at night, Myro

Bliss pt. 1

One to Another (Eplained)

This song started so different from it's final form - but when I finished the building/rebuilding this song, I felt my perfect heartbreak I wanted this song to deliver.

One to Another in his simple form talks about going from one love to another, while finding out the disappointment this 'love' is the same as the last one was, and there for isn't real 'love'.

Where as the actual meaning is like I love the most - An analogy.

I guess it's because I find it still weird writting my heart out - so I give it like 'parts in a play'.

The song is talking about the baffling war waged between myself and panic attacks.

As implied before the last chorus, I used to think of happenings as regular and normative.

Only when confronted with the term Mental-Illness I connected the dots.

This 'Love' (= AKA Mental Illness issues) is hurting me without me noticing, block happiness and joy from my life.

I've been mistakenly led by myself as a mechanism of defense, to believing in this love and fall victim, as the song says, 'From one to another'.

This song's my crown's jewel as comes to manifesting a conceptual mental illness issued musical number.

Fight your demons and don't let go of the light in you, Myro

One to Anothe (Explained

Cheap (Eplained)

I searched for a song to fit a certain place in the album's concept.

I write a lot of sad songs. I am fully aware that I tend to write more sad than happy and I wanted the album to have it's love-uprising song that breaks walls in the name of love.

The whole idea of cheap is to look as inocent as posible when writting about the first stages of falling in love.

Falling in love for the first period of time is identical to a state of denial in someway.

Falling in love with a lack of a big amount of information about the other partner just for the sake of it being negligible.

I want to love someone without a care in the world - seems magical.

The song is short.
The album is short.

I love making music and love doing it the best I can do.
You will have my music spread out in all sizes and shapes because I love giving you out there what moves me.
And if it moves me in a minute - I'll never add more than I think I should.

Spare the time and do the deed - Go fall in-love for a minute.

Waiting for your reckless love stories, Myro

Sex (Eplained)

There are three main stages I want the listener to go through when hearing this track.

The very point of coming back with a first track in months and giving it this bold statement of a name - Is my point of the journey I'd like people to go on.

The first sense will be where I sing about me wanting to get physical connections only and putting aside all my emotions.
I'd love it if you'd know me for long enough to know that's the illusion.

More progressed approach is realizing that I sing towards someone who have no further interest in me while I'm still tangled in my own web - And I want you to take that journey, because that's what I went through in order to write it.

The final stage of the meaning is an analogy. 'Sex' being the state of a romantic relationship with no declerations for future plans and 'Love' being the face of a relationship that's build from the foundation to be stablized as long term and/or lifelong.

In someway this is a sad balled for not being able to brake the chains your mind has set regarding things you find close to heart.

I want you all to prove this song wrong - As the same expectations from myself.

Keep fighting your head & win your heart, Myro

"No disturbing please, Take it easy."

"As the curtains call you find a way to leave me blind."

Best Shot (Eplained)

This song was written in 2014. Wow. I'm so proud of him.

'Best Shot', formerly called 'Too far and gone', was a song I did as a 17 year old kid. A pop-punk sad love balled that I just fell in love with.

This was before I got recruited and actually pretty much before I got into singing.

It's about letting go and knowing your worth.

I'm anxious about what people think constantly, looking back is my best sport I'm good at and in pointing the blaming finger on me. But I needed change as I grew up.

I wanted to stop saying sorry, and stop renovation myself in terms of pure satisfaction to the other.

I love changing, evolving, but I did it in the wrong times with the wrong people.

I feel better now, and this song is dedicated to all of you experiencing my point of view.

It's for you to feel better. To scream the lyrics and feel sad - that's fine. Don't get guilt or shame in feeling not okay.

Huge shoutout to Tom East for taking this song to the sky and make it alive again seven years later.

You have worth. Find someone who reckons you and you them. Blossom with every inch of rich quality you posses.

Let them miss and love right, Myro

In The End (Eplained)

I needed to write in a different perspective.

This song was my attempt of writting a song about my 'End Goals' - I wanted it to be my directions towards my future, and let my free writting lead the way.

The whole idea of this song (this is me kinda summing the whole page below) is around the sentence 'love will forever keep you alive'.

I try to get the best out of this idea and get it to you.

Live your life, crash to the ground, love, get your heart broken, experience the world through it's sugars and spices - but always let love be there for you and guide you.

Your deeds won't be there when you're gone.

Nor your looks, nor your smile, nor your intentions - nothing but the love for you in the hearts of those still roaming this earth.

It's a little bit cheesy but think it through - Your legacy is the love towards you. If it's family, friends, lovers, fans or any human being you had interaction with (Could be the smile at the coffee shop) will leave your face on this earch for a little longer.

This strong EDM vibes came to life with a good friend and a talented producer Tom East and soon will be included in a more 'stripped down' version.

Let love flood you and the ones around you. Myro

Cold (Eplained)

I think this song's first lyrics was the second part of the chorus : "I can't feel your love in the state I'm in".

And from there - It took me 14 minutes to finish the rest - The feeling of 'not-feeling' over flooded me and it took over me.

The song really dives in my inner me - analyzing the damage and figuring out the cure. It states the fact that feelings of excitment and love are denied from me - and all is not in my control. At that time I felt good but in the same time it was more like looking out a window than driving and holding the wheel.

The whole imagery of being 'Underwater' (Who was the original name for the track, btw), is being trapped in your own body. You can move, live freely, everything is great but you feel that there is something that you want and can't reach.

An 'ice ceiling' of emotions. I can see others do it - Why can't I ? And more important -- Why am I feeling okay ?

The questions of 'am I just programmed different' and others alike still echo through my head. but there's no escape from a place you are not in - but a place YOU ARE.

I'm optimistic as always and looking forward for a plot twist life has got me waiting for.

Thanks for reading out, Myro

Games (Eplained)

I came from a place where you never talk straight forward when it comes to being vulnerable.

My belief is that everyone got their demons - but my hope is that they will learn in time to get along.

Games is about panic attacks.

This was a hard sentence to say, especially that direct without any joke to hide behind.

The lyrics for my was a way to unburden myself with making the attacks human - non the less, my prom date.

I always loved analogies. What's a better way to do a dialog with your mental-health problems than to refere it as dancing ?

The verses holds the story of trying to 'get along' with panic attacks (will now be refered as a 'dancer').

With the dancer being toxic and hard to live with - and it makes you wonder why you are in this position at all.

and how it is an on-going journey of meeting half way.

The bridges and choruses is focused with a third-person point of view on this relationship. About the fight to keep the boat steady while someone is rowing and the other's 'dancing'.

I really hope you and I can find solace and peace with ourselves - including the inner dancer.

Never stop fighting or dancing, Myro

Over My Head (Eplained)

This project started with a talk between me and Roy Knox about making a song, actually a balled, and try to get the best out of it.

The converstion was short but under ten minutes I saw a vision for it and started recording a demo.

From there to getting 1 million views - that was an amazing adventure to me. Dipping in the big guys world.

I am so grateful for NCS for getting this song reached out and setting my stepping stone into so many projects.

'Over my head' is my love song written TO music.

I LOVE music. I have it around me since I was understanding how to sit. That long ago.

Music was the one who stood up for me when I felt attacked, It was the one that knewe what I was feeling and got the only magic words solving problems.

The idea of making music myself never crossed my mind until I started writting things I iked to hear - And that took a while.

Now, on the bridge of debuting my first album of music I wrote myself - I am excited. I want people to get excited and feel like they are understood and not alone out there.

This song is my power of will - of never stopping and never giving up for something that's hard to reach.

If making good music and being successful was easy - Everyone would do it right.

Never fear the hard work and always keep chasing, Myro
